How to prepare your home for a professional clean
Professional cleaners can work more efficiently when the scope, access and priorities are clear before arrival. These simple steps help make the booked time count.
Confirm the scope
Explain the property size, current condition and areas requiring special attention. Confirm whether ovens, windows, walls, balconies, garages or external areas are included, because these are not automatically part of every service.
Disclose known hazards, fragile surfaces and product restrictions. If someone in the property has sensitivities, raise this before the service is confirmed.
Create access to surfaces
Remove personal clutter, dishes, clothing and important documents. Secure jewellery, cash, medication and irreplaceable items. Move only furniture that is safe and agreed to be moved.
Arrange keys, parking, building access and alarm instructions. Secure pets and let the team know if anyone will remain at the property.
Inspect and communicate
At completion, review priority areas where practical and raise any concern promptly. Clear feedback is the fastest way to resolve a missed area or clarify something outside the agreed scope.
Tell us what needs doing and we’ll help coordinate the right service.
